The Monday ‘Active Living’ Club, based in Priorswood, Taunton hosted a talk on the archaeological excavations at Hinkley Point. Fifteen members of the group enjoyed hearing about the excavations that took place in 2012. They were able to see photographs of archaeologists at work, both in the field and behind the scenes at Cotswold Archaeology. They also looked at a variety of archaeological finds discovered during the dig, including Roman brooches, pottery, coins and hair pins.
